In an average year the Turks and Caicos Islands enjoy 350 days of sunshine. Not bad.
The weather in Turks and Caicos is fairly predictable… temperatures range between 75 and 85 degrees during the year. From June to October the temperature can go higher, however trade winds off the ocean tend to keep things at a comfortable level.
There may be a brief passing shower to cool you off, however these often last only minutes. Overcast days are unusual in Turks and Caicos. And unlike the Bahamas, they don’t experience cold waves in winter or spring.
Casual island wear is accepted virtually everywhere at any time of the day or night. Light jackets or sweaters may be needed during the evening, especially in the winter months. Visitors should enjoy the wonderful Turks and Caicos weather, however protective clothing and appropriate waterproof sunscreen should be worn when in the sun.
The Caribbean high season is traditionally winter - from December 15 to April 15. Because the weather in Turks and Caicos is so inviting during the winter months, it’s the most popular time to visit the islands, so we advise making reservations well in advance… at least two or three months.
